Job Description

UI/UX designers are responsible for creating the look and feel of a website or mobile application. They ensure that the user interface is visually appealing, easy to use, and intuitive. UI/UX designers work closely with web developers, graphic designers, and project managers to ensure that the final product meets the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the product will function
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
• Collaborating with web developers to ensure the final product meets design specifications and usability standards.

Job Specification

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology.
